Panattoni Europe, the leader in the warehouse space sector in Poland, is expanding its Silesian warehouse park portfolio. The new investments, Panattoni Park Gliwice I and Panattoni Park Gliwice II, comprise three buildings totalling approximately 30,600 m². The first tenant of Panattoni Park Gliwice II is Saint-Gobain Glass Polska. Saint-Gobain Glass Polska is one of the leading manufacturers of glass for construction and motor industry. At Panattoni Park Gliwice II, the company will open a modern manufacturing facility, where 4,000 m² will be devoted to the production of spacer bars for glass units. The remaining 250 m² will serve as office space.
Panattoni Park Gliwice II is made up of one 8,000-square-metre building. The construction of the park will commence in March this year. Panattoni Park Gliwice I is a project designed to comprise two buildings – a BTS facility with 11,165 m² of space, dedicated to a logistics company, and a building offering speculative space of nearly 11,500 m². Construction works on this facility are planned to commence in April 2011. Both parks are situated some 8 km from the centre of Gliwice, in the vicinity of the Gliwice-Sośnica junction, linking the motorways A1 and A4; in the north-western part of Upper Silesia which enjoys growing interest from the business community due to the ongoing road investments.
