Tesco renting in Kowale Shopping Center
AXI IMMO has acquired hypermarket tenant Tesco for the Kowale Shopping Centre.

AXI IMMO – an expert in the commercial real estate has acquired the key, high floor space, hypermarket tenant Tesco for the Kowale Shopping Centre in Tri-City. The British network will occupy 1200 square meters. In addition, the Centre will also have a Kolporter newsagent. AXI IMMO is the centre’s exclusive broker.
The Kowale Shopping Centre will be built on ul. Staropolska near the Tri-City S6 bypass, and directly by the 221 highway. The facility is easily accessible from both the provincial road and from smaller residential streets. The centre will be located adjacent to areas inhabited by about 40 000 people, in a fast developing part of the Tri-City. Currently, the area lacks the option of shopping in one place.
“When selecting the portfolio of tenants for the Kowale Shopping Centre, we are guided by the expectations and needs of potential customers at the site. At the same time, the lack of a wide range of shopping options in the immediate vicinity gives the site a large sale potential. This is a key factor that determines the attractiveness of the site to tenants,” said Renata Osiecka, Managing Director, AXI IMMO.
Kowale Shopping Centre in Tri-City
The Kowale Centre will be a two-storey modern shopping mall, offering dozens of outlets. There will be 4700 m2 of sales area together with an office building, which together with the shopping centre constitutes 6000 m2. Customers will have at their disposal 160 parking, allowing them to do their shopping in comfort. The opening is planned for autumn 2012. The investor is Impress from Warsaw.
“The Tesco hypermarket will be an important element of the Kowale Shopping Centre and will allow residents in the local area to do their shopping in one place. At the same time the presence of a well-known network will contribute positively to the success of other tenants and the entire facility,” added Renata Osiecka, Managing Director of AXI IMMO.
