AXI IMMO advises Leroy Merlin on the extension of the contract for 50,000 sq m at Logicor Stryków
Leroy Merlin will occupy approximately 50,000 sq m warehouse space for its main distribution center for stores throughout Poland and the region.
Logicor, a leading owner, manager and developer of European logistics real estate has re-signed long-term customer, Leroy Merlin, the French hypermarket chain, in an agreement that will see them expand their current facility at Logicor Stryków in Central Poland. The tenant was advised by AXI IMMO.
Under the agreement, Leroy Merlin will occupy c.50,000 sqm of warehouse space in Logicor Strykow, which will be used as their main distribution centre for stores across Poland and the wider region.
Perfect location of the distribution center
Leszek Petryczko, Central Logistics Senior Manager at Leroy Merlin, says: “To Leroy Merlin, extending cooperation with Logicor means leasing the best logistic space in the prime location and high-quality services daily. This way, we can secure the company’s business expansion in Poland and the whole region”.
Hubert Wojtera, Director, Industrial & Logistics Agency, says: “I am convinced that the renegotiation of the warehouse space lease in Strykow between Leroy Merlin and Logicor can truly be considered a classic WIN-WIN transaction. The tenant remains in a well-known location, where he built a large division of sub-suppliers. At the same time, the landlord retains an important and large market player in its customer portfolio.”
Anna Mazepa, Asset Management Director, Logicor Poland, says: “We are delighted with Leroy Merlin’s decision to renew and extend their lease with us. The agreement clearly demonstrates that we are a trusted partner to our customers, with an in-depth understanding of their needs and the provision of high quality services to help businesses succeed.”
Logicor Stryków is located in central Poland, 5 kilometres from the key transport intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways and 15 kilometres from Łódź city centre.
