Chassis Brakes International Poland – a manufacturer of automotive foundation brakes and SEGRO – leading owner, asset manager and developer of modern warehousing and light industrial properties signed a long-term agreement for the lease of approx. 2 300 sq m of warehouse space at SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław. The new facility will serve the tenant as the storage space for varied elements for production of brake callipers.  AXI IMMO has advanced in the transaction.

Chassis Brakes International Poland Sp. z o.o. is a part of Chassis Brakes International, being one of the largest manufacturers of automotive foundation brakes and foundation brake components worldwide. The company operates within five continents, in 22 locations, with its production facilities located in 15 countries in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. In October 2013 the company officially opened its new Chassis Brakes International Poland department in Wrocław. The unit specialises in the production of brake callipers and brake drums. The company sought a warehouse located close to the production plant in order to implement the long-term logistics strategy aiming at optimizing the cost and improving the packing and transport system.

Chassis Brakes International Poland leased approx. 2 300 sq m of warehouse space at SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław.

Space will be used for the storage of components for the production of finished products. The products will be delivered hourly according to the JIT (Just In Time Delivery) method to the production lines at the nearby plant. Such a delivery process is in line with the adapted by the company Lean method. A minimum stock of components is held at the production line and is supplemented constantly from the external SEGRO’s warehouse. Applying the Kanban systems while ordering the components guarantees the transparency of the process and is a standard for modern logistics solutions. Finished goods are delivered to worldwide brands e.g.: BMW, Volkswagen, Dacia, Renault, Fiat, Ford and Mercedes.
