SEGRO has signed the leasing agreement with GEODIS Calberson Polska for warehouse space in Tulipan Park Strykow.
SEGRO, leading owner, asset manager and developer of modern warehousing, light industrial and data centre properties, has signed the leasing agreement with GEODIS Calberson Polska for warehouse space in Tulipan Park Strykow. SEGRO has built a warehouse unit with office space of over 4 000 sq m which has been delivered to the tenant in June 2013.
GEODIS Calberson Polska is a part of GEODIS Group, one of the European logistics leaders. The company specialises in the delivery of added value logistics solutions for part or all of your supply chain and focuses on client’s international development with global, multi-modal offering. GEODIS, logistics leader in France and the fourth European operator offers integrated services in supplies groupage and express services. Operating within SEGRO Tulipan Park Strykow the company will be cooperating mainly with Tarkett Wykładziny – leader of innovative and sustainable flooring and sports surface solutions.
“We were interested in the unit that will guarantee the possibility to enhance the cooperation with our client, Tarkett Wykładziny. We have decided for the space in Tulipan Park Strykow due to the professional attitude of SEGRO’s team and the investment realisation schedule fully adjusted to our business requirements. Only five months after the agreement the developer has delivered a unit ready for the operation. The perfect location of Tulipan Park Strykow remains its additional advantage. The investment is situated in the close vicinity of main transport corridors in the region,” says Bogdan Młynarczyk from GEODIS Calberson.
The warehouse with office space totalling over 4 000 sq m dedicated to GEODIS has been realised as the next phase of G building development, within which SEGRO has recently delivered the business space for Valeo Service Eastern Europe Sp. z o.o. and CAT LC Polska. The building has development potential, which is vital for the clients interested in lease of space with the short delivery time.
Magdalena Szulc, Business Unit Director Central Europe at SEGRO, confirms the importance of Park’s convenient location for the operations held by the tenants: “Tulipan Park Strykow, our biggest logistics centre in this part of Europe and guarantees to our clients the perfect possibilities in logistics. Thanks to the further development of road infrastructure – A2 motorway and junction of A1 and A2 motorways we observe growing interest among Polish and foreign companies and thus we constantly expand our investment in Strykow.”
Tulipan Park Stryków is the largest SEGRO logistics centre in Central Europe. The investment, situated adjacent to A2 motorway, next to the junction of A1 (north-south) and A2 (east-west) motorways, provides perfect warehouse space for distribution activities. The facility is also partly located within Łódź Special Economic Zone, which brings multiple benefit to the businesses.
