The development company Segro has completed the construction of the facility for Komfort. The project with 15.5 thousand sqm was build in three and a half months at SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków. The transaction was brokered by AXI IMMO.

Komfort is one of Segro’s first customers in Stryków, which has rented an area of ​​11.7 thousand sqm in an existing warehouse. Due to the dynamic development of business and the extension of the offer to include kitchen and bathroom equipment, the company needed over 30 percent more warehouse space.

Komfort on a new certified surface

Quick delivery time of the new, 15.5 thousand sqm. the project was possible thanks to the use of a fully prefabricated structure, from the hall foundations, through columns and roof girders, to the fully prefabricated external office, made of prefabricated walls and reinforced concrete floors.

The new Komfort’s facility will undergo BREEAM certification with a Very Good forecast. Thanks to the use of modern selective glazing in the office building, protecting against excessive heating of the office in summer and heat loss in winter. LED lighting was installed throughout the facility, and intelligent LED luminaires controlled by the DALI system in the hall. At the entrance to the building, an access control system was introduced that automatically reads license plates. In SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków, where the facility is located, also chargers for electric cars are installed, which is one of the pro-ecological solutions used by the developer.

Komfort plans to increase the employment of warehouse employees both to service the existing assortment and to newly introduced product categories – bathrooms, kitchens and cabinets.

The Komfort chain of stores already has over 160 branches throughout the country. Recently, the company has expanded its range of bathrooms, kitchens and wardrobes in specially designed stores. The first stores with a comprehensive range of interior finishing and furnishings already operate in Warsaw’s Okęcie and Poznań. The company plans to further develop this concept.
