Metropolitan in Warsaw sold
The Metropolitan office building, designed by Norman Foster, has been sold.

The Metropolitan on pl. Piłsudskiego in the centre of Warsaw has been bought by a fund in Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management’s portfolio. Previously Metropolitan was in hands of another German fund, Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland, which bought the building for EUR 169 mln in 2006. The price of the today’s transaction has not yet been revealed, but according to market speculation about a possible sale over the last few months, it could amount to EUR 200 mln. Metropolitan, which was built in 2003, offers 38,000 sqm of leasable space.
