MR. DIY expands logistics centre in Hillwood Zgierz I Poland, again advises AXI IMMO

Less than a year ago, the Malaysian home improvement retail giant MR.DIY made its debut in the Polish market by opening its first Central and Eastern European logistics center at Hillwood Zgierz I. The company’s launch in the CEE region has proven to be a great success, driving further expansion. This year, MR.DIY leased the last available space in the complex, making Hillwood Zgierz I now fully leased. AXI IMMO was responsible for comprehensive services for the tenant.

MR.DIY currently operates in 13 countries and has over 4,500 stores in Asia and Europe. The company’s product range includes over 20,000 items, such as household and hardware supplies, home improvement essentials, stationery, toys, and more. So far, the MR.DIY brand has launched three stores in Poland and is currently preparing to open new locations.

Last year, MR.DIY took its first step towards expansion in Central and Eastern Europe by launching a 5,000 sqm logistics centre at Hillwood Zgierz I. This year, in response to its growing operational needs, the company expanded its facility by an additional 7,106 sqm of warehouse and office space. As a result, Hillwood Zgierz I is now fully leased, with available spaces remaining only at Hillwood Zgierz II.

Hillwood Zgierz I – warehouse park with strategic location and modern Infrastructure

Hillwood Zgierz I is a Class A logistics centre strategically located in popular warehouses location in central Poland, Zgierz near Łódź. The facility is situated directly on Provincial Road 702, ensuring excellent connectivity to the A2 motorway junction (2.5 km) and the A1 motorway junction (15.5 km). The proximity to Zgierz and Łódź provides access to a well-qualified workforce.

The center offers over 58,000 sqm of Class A warehouse space with above-standard features, including a height of 12 meters and an increased floor load capacity of 8 tons/sqm, ensuring flexibility and efficiency for diverse business operations.
