Wholesale store “ESKULAP” moves to 7R City Flex Kraków Airport I

The “ESKULAP” company, owner of a veterinary wholesaler and chain of stores, has decided to relocate to the 7R City Flex Kraków Airport I distribution park. The tenant will occupy nearly 5,300 sqm of warehouse and office space in the new location. AXI IMMO was responsible for comprehensive consulting services to “ESKULAP.”

“ESKULAP” is a family-owned company that distributes veterinary medicines in southern Poland. Since the beginning of its activity in 1990, the wholesaler has been developing in Zabierzów, near Kraków. Currently, its services are used by more than 1,000 veterinary practices and more than 1,500 pet stores, mainly in the Małopolskie, Śląskie, Podkarpackie, and Świętokrzyskie provinces.

“Our primary goal while searching for space was to consolidate several existing locations into one with high standards. We believe that this change will improve logistics, as well as the comfort of the warehouse itself. Certainly, a new presentable office designed with the spirit of the times will be an additional asset, influencing employee morale. Under such conditions, we are confident of further harmonious company development,” comments Stefan Dela, CEO, Eskulap.

The “ESKULAP” wholesaler will occupy 4,840 sqm of warehouse and distribution space, supplemented by 440 sqm of new representative office space.

Marta Nowik, Director, Industrial & Logistics, AXI IMMO, said: “The Client considered several locations on the map of Kraków, with the main assumptions for this transaction being to find a high-end warehouse facility, prepared to the standard for pharmaceutical companies. The owners were also interested in a space close to their headquarters to retain their experienced staff. The location near the A4 highway and close to the airport proved an additional advantage in choosing 7R City Flex Kraków Airport I.”

– Amidst the growing logistics scene in Krakow, we have observed the increasing appeal of the Balice Airport location for enterprises seeking modern spaces with unique features. Quick access to air transport and the highway makes entrepreneurs from the e-commerce, automotive, and distribution industries see excellent conditions for the development of their business – explains Joanna Ociepka – Wojciechowska, Regional Leasing Director w 7R. The new 7R warehouse complements the offer of Krakow’s industrial and logistics space market. Our goal is to flexibly adapt to the different needs of our customers. A diverse offer tailored to individual requirements is an asset for our customers– she adds.

7R City Flex Kraków Airport I is a modern distribution park consisting of two A-class warehouse halls with a total area of 28,000 sqm. The facility is located directly next to the John Paul II Airport in Balice near Krakow, 3 km from the highway entrance and about 9 km from the center of the Malopolska capital. The logistics center has fire protection systems, i.e., sprinklers and smoke dampers, 24-hour monitoring, and security. In addition, tenants will find modern and cost-effective solutions, such as lighting for the side area and energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the building. Parking spaces for trucks and cars are also included as standard.
